I doubt Chribba is the richest, he doesn't seem the type that is too active in money making. Entity is asset rich but probably doesn't have much liquidity. Also some things Entity has is hard to get a set price on, due to rarity.

Most likely the richest person isn't someone who is well known.

I seem to have some kind of psychological cap on how much money gets in my wallet before I can't stand to look at that amount of isk just sitting there doing nothing.

That's usually when I engage on some stupidly expensive project that sucks my wallet down to a level where I start thinking it's worthwhile making it grow again.

I can even imagine how soul-numbingly boring this game must be if you have more isk than you could ever spend, like some of the hardcore isk grinders do. An old corp mate of mine had a trillion in his wallet last time I talked to him and had the goal of doubling that number in 6 months. If I had that much money in my wallet, I'd probably stop logging on because I'd lose the motivation to work toward anything.

Being rich is like being famous. A little goes a long way but too much isn't good for you.

I'm worth about two trillion and it'll rise as assets appreciate post-Odyssey, but I'm far from the richest in the game. Plenty of people with a significant head start on me, opportunities that don't exist anymore, etc.




On the other hand, many parts of Entity's collection he would never, ever sell, which you could argue makes them valueless. "Priceless" can go both ways.


Somer may or may not be as rich as Blink would imply. Sure, players have won 750T which would imply an upper end of about 20% of that (150 trillion), but... how much of those winnings are off of credit, either from promos or credit earned off of a win? How much does he spend on those promos? What's his employee take? And, so on and so forth. It's hard to say anything definitive about him other than "yeah he's ridiculously wealthy" and "I wish I'd thought of that first."

I got around 14b isk and only about 2-3b in assets that im trying to sell. Nothing compared to a lot of the people out there haha.
